Girls Night Out

On Saturday we took the boys up to the temple and dropped them off during Steve's temple shift so they could do baptisms.  While we waited for them to get done we girls went out to dinner!  It was fun just being us.  They loved it and I loved my time alone with them!

Crazy Hair Day

The girls had crazy hair day at school this week.  Railey wanted buns all over her head so that's what she got.

Kenna couldn't decide so I ended up giving her a unicorn and she loved it!

The next day we took Railey's buns out and this is what happened we told her she looked like Lucy in Charlie Brown!  Now she has a slight idea of what it's like to have Kenna hair.

Sleepover

For Christmas we gave Ben and Nat a night get away up at the Little America.  We told them we would watch their kids.  Our kids were so excited to have them come over for the night.  It went pretty well.  Saydee was a little stinker but other than that everything was great!  They are such good kids.  It also helps that everyone has a buddy their own age!

The kids were hungry so Steve pulled out the Summer Sausage and the kids all tanked down!  It still amazes me that people like that stuff.

Here they all are set up for the night.  Cams on the couch and Kenna, Railey and Kate are on the cots.  Even though they "went to bed at 8"  The didn't go to sleep until 10.  And even with that late night they woke up at 5:30.  Those darn kiddos!!!

Jade and Saydee in trying to go to sleep but in reality all they did was play peek a boo and jump on beds until we separated them and then they were out in 2 minutes and then put back in the room together after they were asleep!

Saydee's Sillyness

Oh our dear Saydee keeps us entertained.  She is a mile a minute and there is definitely never a dull moment with her!  This week the kids all come down to the living room laughing and giggling with our little suitcase.  We told them to go put it away until they started unzipping it and revealed that Saydee was curled up inside!  Silly girl

Then she got a hold of my phone at Seth's ward basketball game and the following is a result of her looking in the camera and taking pictures!  This girl seriously has soooo many faces that keep us smiling!

More of Kenna's Birthday

Grandma and Grandpa came over for dinner on Kenna's Birthday. After we had cake and ice cream and Ben and Nat and kids joined in on the fun and to also give Grandpa a blessing before he went in for a shoulder replacement two days later.  The kids all dressed up in the aprons I made and had to show them off!

Here she is blowing out her candles

Kenna's 6th Birthday!

Oh our beautiful, smart, silly, cheesy, sensitive, energetic, observant little girl isn't so little anymore!  Kenna turned 6 today!  Because today is Sunday, Steve took her to breakfast yesterday!  Someday I will get to come along on these adventures but until then I get to see all the pictures they take of the fun.  This girl definitely knows how to make many many faces!

finally decided on the crazy 8s or scones!

Today we got home from church where she was picked on about 5 times during sharing time to go up and once home she got to open her gifts.  She receive Bell and Cinderella dolls.

Here is a picture of her cake and then her with her cake and more of her funny faces.

Oh how we love this little ray of sunshine in our home!  She is definitely growing up.  This week she started reading the Book of Mormon by herself.  She has read several chapters without help.  And in Primary today she read a verse in Sharing time.  People were shocked that this little Kindergartner was reading so well, but hey that's our smart little curly Kenna!  Happy Birthday Sweety!!!
