Hee Haw Farm Fieldtrip

Railey's little preschool went on a field trip to Hee Haw Farms.  They were supposed to go before Halloween but the weather was awful the day they were supposed to go so we went the after Halloween.  It turned out great, because no one was there and they were giving their pumpkins away so we didn't have to pay for them!

We were able to go on a hay ride, which the girls actually loved, but not all these pictures show that.

After that we went to the petting zoo.  My girls were freaked out by the animals at first.  There were goats wandering all over and they did not like the idea of that, but when they saw these harmless, baby pigs I talked them into touching them.  This is a major milestone in their lives.  They do not like animals and for them to touch them was a big deal.  In fact these pictures alone are why I am even doing a post on this.

This was the "corn box", instead of sand it is filled with corn.

They had this giant slide that the kids could go down on gunny sacks.  That was quite the fun time!

And that concludes our adventures at the farm! Next...
